Ramsey led the way with 23 points Mall Rats Kill The Horse 70-38
(Olympia, WA) - Capitol Mall Rats QB Patrick Ramsay, TE Freddie Jones and the Seahawks defense defeated the Four Horsemen’s entire team 40-38 this weekend as the Rats scored their lowest point total of the season but still held on to win 70-38. Ramsay led the way with a career high 23 points while the Seahawks scored 14. Jones joined the rest of the team in single digit point totals with only three.

RB Jamal Lewis scored 19 of the Four Horsemen’s 38 points. No other Horsemen scored more than five points while RB Travis Henry had -1 points. The Horsemen wide receivers and tight end only managed 8 points in one of the CFFL's all-time lowest scoring games.

"We didn't play very good," said coach Brandon Sparks after the game, "but at least we were good enough to rise above this awful display by the Four Horsemen. I mean, come on, 38 points? That’s pretty damn bad."

This was the only meeting of the season between these two bitter opponents, a fact that was not lost on Sparks. "Jesse should be ashamed about how his team looked this weekend. We heard a lot of trash coming from that camp before the game but we showed them what Mall Rat football is all about. It may not be pretty, but you cross the line and we'll jam it down your throat and then we'll just make you look silly, or as we call it, we'll make you look like a Horse. They will look like a horse until next season.”

The Mall Rats get to .500 with the win and are now only one win behind the OTHG in the Central Division. The Mall Rats play their first home game of the season when they open up brand new Banana Republic Field this weekend against RB Clinton Portis and the Blowhards.

“It should be an interesting match-up,” added Sparks. “We will have all of our big names in the lineup and we should see some improvement out of some of these underachievers. “Marvin (Harrison) and Donovan (McNabb) both have to step up and take charge. We cannot expect to win without them playing well. We are definitely lucky to be where we are today and hopefully we can build on the surprises we have had.”
