Mall Rats Quiet the Blowhards
(Olympia, WA) - The Capitol Mall Rats made a statement to the rest of the league this weekend stomping the Blowhards 109-79 to move into first place in the CFFL's Central Division. The win is the first in the history of the team's brand new, state-of-the-art, downtown stadium, Banana Republic Field.
The Mall Rats continue their history of outstanding production from the wide receiver position. The receivers busted the game wide open by scoring 63 points. The Rats were led by Marvin Harrison who broke out of his early season slump by scoring three touchdowns en route to a 33 point performance one week removed from being called out for his mediocre play by coach Brandon Sparks. Chad Johnson and rookie Charlie Rogers added 18 and 12 points respectively for good measure(Full Story)

Mall Rats Kill The Horse, 70-38
(Olympia, WA) - Capitol Mall Rats QB Patrick Ramsay, TE Freddie Jones and the Seahawks defense defeated the Four Horsemen's entire team 40-38 this weekend as the Rats scored their lowest point total of the season but still held on to win 70-38. Ramsay led the way with a career high 23 points while the Seahawks scored 14. Jones joined the rest of the team in single digit point totals with only three.
RB Jamal Lewis scored 19 of the Four Horsemen's 38 points. No other Horsemen scored more than five points while RB Travis Henry had -1 points. The Horsemen wide receivers and tight end only managed 8 points in one of the CFFL's all-time lowest scoring games.(Full Story)
